Regional Commitment: Rapidon Supports the Dresden-Plauen Observatory
As part of our social responsibility, we specifically promote projects in our immediate neighborhood. On March 28, 2026, the nationwide Astronomy Day, Rapidon GmbH presented a corporate donation to the Dresden-Plauen Observatory.
Supporting Science and Volunteer Work
The observatory, located only a few minutes from our new engineering hub on Karlsruher Straße, performs valuable work in astronomical education and the communication of scientific content. The volunteer-led association enables interested visitors to dive deeper into the topics of astronomy and astrophotography through lectures and observations.
Handover on Astronomy Day
The donation was personally handed over by our CEO, Daniel Fleischer, directly on-site. In the presence of numerous guests and visitors to the observatory, we were able to gain a personal impression of the dedicated work of the association and its technical facilities. With our financial support, we aim to contribute to securing the preservation and further expansion of this important educational institution in Dresden-Plauen.
We are pleased that, as a local engineering company, we can contribute to fostering technical and scientific enthusiasm in our region.
